Tracking Students Performance in a Dual Curriculum school (WASSCE & IGCSE) using simple excel spreadsheet.

Why do teachers need to monitor your students’ performance :

1. It will help you to respond in a timely way if a student is not placed correctly or is not progressing.

2. Keep students who are making progress continually challenged.

In today's education climate, school success is defined as ensuring achievement for every student.

To reach this goal, educators need tools to help them identify students who are at risk academically and adjust instructional strategies to better meet these students' needs.

So I designed a tool using excel spreadsheet that teachers can just download and use, the junior spreadsheet is designed using BECE grading system while the senior spreadsheet is designed using the WASSCE and IGCSE grading system.

Teachers are to set their target grades for their students for ( IGCSE and WASSCE) and at the end of each term teachers can view the progress indicator color to know if a student(s) have met the target , or did not meet the target or exceeded the target.
